I had thought about the same thing a while back, and had mine apart. Luckily they were still in pretty good shape and should last quite a while since I don't use the brakes much. One idea you might check out is the McMaster-Carr website. In case you are unfamiliar with them, they are a large industrial supplier, and they do carry several different types of brake lining material both in strips and in sheets. The next problem is getting all of the old lining off of the disks and then figuring out what adhesive would hold up. I have tried epoxy in a similar situation, and it worked well. Anybody know what the automotive brake shoe manufacturers use to bond the lining to the shoes?

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
