Mel_W 0 Posted May 7, 2003 My Simplicity dealer just dropped off a brand new tiller for my 6216, This tiller is 18 yrs. old but was never in the dirt. Somebody traded a tractor in and this was with it. I just happened to be there and I got it for $300.00. Did I do Good? Mel_W
gregc 3 Posted May 7, 2003 I think you did very good. I gave $425 to get a NOS #1600343 tiller to go on my Broodmoor 738.

lsenus 0 Posted May 7, 2003 Pretty good deal indeed, considering the drop off too! I got mine with all the hitch and pto setup new in the box from member DustyR. I drove out to his place in PA, about 190 mi each way, to get it and a few other items. The parts deal was good, but talking with Dusty and making another friend was even better. jdschool 0 Posted May 7, 2003 Not a bad deal, considering how hard the unit is to come by in new condition. I broke mine last year when I caught a rock under 8" of soil that is as big as the tiller. It cost $250. to fix the internal gears. You paid only $50. more for a brand new one!
