Ok I started swapping parts from the homesteader8 to the 648 while I was looking things over I cant figure where the battery goes on the simp. the ac goes behind the fuel tank I dont think theres enough room on the simp.It would help if it had a wiring harness but it was gone when I picked up the tractor.I checked the simplicity tech pub but it doesnt show the battery in the tractor. it does look like the small type battery . Any help would be appreciated thank you.?:DJB.

They used a small battery like motorbikes use.They mounted up front behind the grill in front of the motor...
