42" mower deck rebuild

Just installed my rebuilt 42" mower deck on the 5010 Simplicity. Thanks to Nemes & Sons, scrounged all the missing parts (the center blade shroud and roller kit) - replaced the arbor bearings, had some minor MIG weld repairs, primed and painted with Simplicity White, matched up very well to the tractor white. Made my own roller bar from 5/8" barstock, new rollers, blades, belts. Runs smooth - nice wide path compared to my old 36" deck. My wife says - so how much did you spend on that thing - I said, oh, about 100 bucks.... (times 3). The 10HP seems about the min for this setup - its not underpowered, but the engine is working when I'm in 3rd going up terraces. But - it was worth it!
