Simplicity walker tractor wheels

Since this walker is my first Simplicity walker I'm going to ask one question. How do you get the wheels off? They are mounted to the inside of the hubs, I've never come across this before but noticed on some pictures on here tonight that this is how many are mounted. I need to change the tires but am in aw as to how to get these off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, kris

Kris, You have to remove the #37 ratchet cage first ,than the wheel hub comes off. Karl

Do these wheels have to be on the inside of the hub. I never really looked real close at them. But it seems it would be easier to get them off and on if they were mounted on the outside of the hub.

All of the model l's that I have are mounted like the pic. It only takes a few minutes more and how often do you change the tires. If you need some spare parts for it let me know I do have a few parts tractors here that I could give you a very good deal on (free) and I would even bring it up to Rinelander for you.Bob

Later Simplicity models B,D,L,L-1,M,M-1 only have the wheel mounted this way. After 1952-1953 the wheel hub was mounted on outside. Karl www.simplicityva.com
