Well, It's a start. Did you have to pay anything for the tractor? You might get some calls from people who claim they want to sell their tractor to you, you give them a price, and they refuse to sell. I believe they are just using you as a price guide, to see it it is worth anything, or so they can stick in the paper and sell it for the price you just quoted, or higher. I know someone who used to do the same thing you are, and he warned me about this. It makes no sense at all. the person still has to pay a fee to list it in the paper. and they could of sold it there to you right on the spot to you.
