elec. problem

Just changed the stator(new stator 237878-s) in a 716H. Now my amp gauge is jumping all over the high side of the amp gauge. Is the amp gauge,rectifier,or wiring bad. I don't know where to start. Thanks, DarrellL

Sounds to me like you have a loose connection and the vibs are making a contact noncontact situation. Mel
