    No Garden tractor in its class will give you more versatility, economy and ease of operation than the new Simplicity MODEL A.   This bantam powerhouse means practical, low-cost power all year long.   Compact; stores in small space.

    Perfect balance and elimination of useless weight and bulk make the MODEL A light, maneuverable and easy to handle.   Yet its energetic 23/4 HP engine provides plenty of power for big jobs.   And its sturdy steel frame, with an all-weather hood, gives it strength for years of trusty service.

    Model A's all gear transmission is fully enclosed, with sealed lubrication -provides two forward speeds and reverse. Wide spread handles are adjustable for height. Knob tread tires for superior traction and good flotation.


    Engine: 2 ¾ HP, four cycle, single cylinder, air-cooled Briggs & Stratton, with recoil starter, Lo-tone muffler.

    Clutches: Soft Action spring-loaded idlers.

    Speeds: Two forward and reverse..75 to 2.7 MPH.

    Frame: Heavy-duty one-piece "Hi-Tensile" steel frame.

    Tires: 4.00 x 8, 2 ply, 16" O.D., fully pneumatic, knob tread tractor tires.

    Transmission: Carburized and hardened gears. Rust proof bronze bearings. Leak proof, dirt proof steel housing. Lubricated with grease. Shift lever control.
