Simplicity Broadmoor (No. 990425) shown with 36" Rotary Mower (No. 990422).  Mows up to 1½ acres per hour.  Patented "free floating" feature prevents scalping because mower tilts with front wheels to follow ground contours.  One handscrew accessible from operators seat adjusts front and back heights simultaneously.  Quickly and easily attached without tools.  Leaf mulcher optional (No. 990450).

The Broadmoor 717's chief features: Simplicity's patented mounting of center and front mounted attachments; Controlled Traction Differential; All-season quick switching attachments that let you change implements in minutes without tools (we invite time comparison with other makes); Easy-Spin Starting (electric starting optional) for instant response that lets you get on and go; 7 hp "synchro-balanced" engine; Deluxe foam rubber bucket seat; a dash with closely grouped controls, and a gas gauge in the hood that lets you check fuel level without removing the gas cap or leaving the comfortable seat; Brake-clutch combination; 9-1/2" wide "terra tread" tires; Lights and other convenient optional accessories

An example of an unmolested survivor 717, with original paint and seat.  Optional headlight kit and 2-speed pulley (HiLo) are shown.  *The mower deck in these photos has been refinished.

Just got, 1968 broadmoor 717. In fair shape. Excellent working condition, fires up without choke every time. Wondering if someone could tell me the average value for this tractor

Does anyone know where I can get the optional headlight kit for the 717?

    Thanks
