    Model SERF - 5 hp.
    Engine Briggs & Stratton  4-cycle air-cooled  single-cylinder. 5 hp., 12.57 cu. in. displacement. Vertical crankshaft.   Fuel capacity 2 qts.
    Starting Easy-Spin manual recoil starter standard.   Optional: 12 volt electric starting -- 18 ampere-hour battery with trickle charger.
    Transmission All-gear transmission.   Three speeds forward, one reverse.  
    Speeds .9 to 3.5 mph. forward, to 3.5 mph. in reverse.  
    Rear Axle Controlled Traction Differential, combining true differential action with limited-slip traction.
    Frame Electrically welded heavy gauge steel frame. One-piece channel construction.
    Power Take-off Three. At front, center and rear. Front and center operate independently of vehicle drive.  
    Clutch-brake On one pedal. Top of travel declutches, further travel controls brake. Separate lock provides parking brake.
    Steering ratio 1:1 lever and drag link.
    Turning radius 20" inside rear tire.
    Tires Pneumatic.   4.80/4.00-8 rear; 4.10 X 3.50-4 in front.
